Did you know that Mautic has a built-in option to capture UTM paramaters upon form submission? It’s a form action called “Record UTM Tags”. If a visitor submits your form with this action enabled, Mautic will automatically capture five common UTM parameters:
- utm_source
- utm_medium
- utm_campaign
- utm_term
- utm_content

If someone submits a form after visiting with UTM parameters appended to the URL, you’ll be able to view the “UTM tags recorded” event on the individual’s record, like this:

And as noted in the Mautic docs, you can then use these tags as a filter in segments, and in custom reports.
